Privacy notice

This notice describes how Ilios Ventures Srl, owner of the ilios-homes.com website, processes the personal data collected through the website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data controller

What data we process

  • The data you enter in the forms: full name, company or agency, email, phone number, city and area, link to the listing, period and number of people, message.
  • The technical data recorded by the server while you browse, such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type.
  • With your consent, the statistical data collected by Google Analytics, described in the cookie policy.

Why we process your data and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your requests and prepare proposals: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • For the security and operation of the website: the legitimate interests of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • For visit statistics: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from ‘Cookie preferences’ at the bottom of every page.

How long we keep your data

We keep the data from your requests for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 24 months from the last contact. If a request leads to a contract, the data is kept for the retention periods required by law for contractual and tax documents. Technical server data is kept for as long as needed for the security of the service.

Who receives the data

The data is processed by the company’s authorised staff and by the technical providers of hosting and email services, who act as processors. If you consent to statistics, browsing data is also processed by Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics and may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Providing your data

The data requested in the forms is needed to get back to you: without your name, email and phone number we cannot reply to your request.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, object to processing and withdraw your consent (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR) by writing to hello@ilios-homes.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
